Music producer, DJ, remixer, songwriter, animator, director, columnist, graphic artist. Kidda is hard to pigeon hole but the word “artist” kind of works best as a cover all for his creative output.
Kidda has been producing music for a very long, remixing and creating some of the biggest and best tunes that have circulated dance floors around the world. One of the biggest of recent times would have to be “Under The Sun”, which found its way onto an international TV ad campaign for Bacardi and was remixed by Herve to devastating effect.
“Under The Sun” Herve mix became a massive club record with support from high profile DJs such as Fatboy Slim, Annie Mac, Kissy Sellout, Judge Jules and Dave Spoon. The track achieved No1 status in the Cool Cuts and DMC Zubb charts and was included in several end of year charts; Annie Mac named it her Track of the Year.
Kidda has since continued riding the wave of fame and continued producing tune after tune, in between playing at every major festival and event throughout Europe and the rest of the world… Now it’s little old Adelaide’s tune… Thanks to the 8 Bit Kidz!!!

Klaxons have well and truly announced their return, and come September fans from the Antipodean shores will experience their storming new live show in full force at the ‘Down Under The Void’ Tour. With Surfing The Void, their majestic 2nd record, still smoking from the press, Klaxons will be back with a clutch of new material to further bolster their already blindsiding live act playing two shows only in Sydney on September 2 and in Melbourne on September 3.
2010 marks their return with the eagerly awaited second album, revitalised, reinvented and with US production maverick Ross Robinson (Sepultura, At the Drive In, The Cure) at the helm.
What’s emerged out the other side is a brilliantly diverse and engaging alternative rock record, mashing the best bits of Blur, Muse & The KLF, yet still making a record that sounds uniquely, fabulously, Klaxons. So not a moment too soon, Klaxons will be back on Australian soil to remind all and sundry why their vision of the future is one worth seeing.
Tickets for these two exclusive shows go on-sale Thursday July 29, and as a special offer to live show fans the new album, Surfing The Void due August 20, will be available to pre-order in digital or physical format with each.
